An 18th century Lowestoft soft paste porcelain butterboat, hand painted with a pagoda and Chinese island pattern c17765. This shape butter boat was used from c1760-65. The border on this example indicates a date of c1764-65.
The butterboat measures 10.7cm in length x 5.4cm in width x 4.3cm tall at the handle.
It is in excellent condition without cracks or restoration. There is a tiny sub 1mm chip to the left of the spout. This is so small it can be felt with your nail rather than be seen. This may be from manufacture.
Marked with a No 7 to the inside of the foot rim.
