A Worcester porcelain coffee cup, hand decorated with the Two Quail pattern in bright polychrome enamels c1765-70.
The cup measures 8cm in diameter including handle and stands 6.3cm tall.
Excellent condition.
The base has a label for the 2004 Loan Exhibition presented at Stockspring Antiques. This exhibition focussed specifically on oriental porcelain patterns from both China and Japan and how the 18th century English porcelain industry copied and interpreted these styles of decoration.
