A Lowestoft porcelain sugar bowl decorated in polychrome enamels with the Top Hat pattern c1780-85.
The bowl measures 12.5cm in diameter and stands 6.4cm tall.

A fine well painted example of the Top Hat pattern on Lowestoft porcelain with the unusual feature of a beautifully painted large insect, possibly a dragonfly, to one section of the bowl.
