An 18th century Liverpool porcelain Seth Pennington moulded teapot and cover, hand painted with a floral pattern, C1785-95.
The teapot measures 20.3cm in diameter including the spout and handle, and stands 18.5cm tall with the cover in place.
The pot and cover are in excellent display condition. However there is restoration to both parts. The cover has a section broken and restored to the rim, and what looks to be a firing crack over painted. The body has a hot water crack running from one side between the handle to the other side and across the foot. The spout was broken from the body and riveted, these have been removed, filled and over painted.
