The Rose Pattern is one of the rarer blue and white patterns used by Worcester on their range of toy wares, made between c1756 and 1785. These pieces where made as toys for both adults (in the case of Dutch baby houses) and children to lean the art of tea making. Rare items include tea kettles and stands, coffee pots and sugar boxes for which there are no known full-size counterparts.

See BFS Worcester blue and white porcelain 1.E.13 for a discussion of this pattern including a photo of a miniature teapot. Also see Simon Spero the Simpson collection, pg 20/21 for a selection of rose pattern miniatures, however this doesn’t include the sucrier.
