A Liverpool porcelain coffee cup, probably Richard Chaffers. Hand painted in onglaze colours with a mandarin pattern. C1760.
It measures 8.2cm (3 2/8″) in diameter and stands 6.1cm (2 3/8″) high.
The cup is in excellent condition with no damage or restoration. There is ware to the gilding on the rim from use.
