A rare Vauxhall hexagonal porcelain cream boat hand painted in underglaze blue with a scene of a man fishing over a fence into a lake c1756-58.
The creamboat measures 13.5cm across including handle and spout and stands 5.5cm tall.
Broken into two and professionally restored.

For a relatively small factory Vauxhall made a large variety of shapes of cream and sauceboats with this example being based on those from Limehouse, Lund’s Bristol, and early Worcester.
