A Rare 18th century Lowestoft porcelain butterboat, hand painted in underglaze blue with the Two Porter Landscape pattern copied from Worcester c1768-70
The butterboat measures 10.8cm in length including the handle by 5.3cm in diameter and stands 4.7cm tall at the spout.
It is in great display condition without chips or restoration. There are two firing cracks to the foot that have spread up the sides and staining to the rim and foot. There is another firing crack to the top of the bottom handle joint and a 6mm hairline to the left side of the spout.
Marked to the base with a 5 mark.
