A rare Worcester porcelain bell-shaped coffee cup with pixie ear handle, hand painted with a pink rose within a spray of English summer flowers and large butterfly c1757-62.
This painting is probably the work of James Rogers, who is known to have worked at the Worcester factory in the late 1750’s. His work can be seen on plates, vases and other wares produced between 1756 and 1765.
The cup measures 8cm in diameter including the handle and stands 5.9cm tall.
Excellent condition.
