Rare Crane on a Fence Pattern Cream Jug c1758-60

A rare Worcester porcelain cream jug decorated in polychrome c1758-60.

The raised lip and pixie ear handle are unusual features and enhance the quality of this jug.

Decorated in bright polychrome enamels with a bird sitting on a fence in the style of Bianco supra Bianco, a technique first used on Italian porcelain, which translated means White on White.

The jug measures 8.2cm across spout and handle and stands 8.9cm tall.

A tiny chip to the spout.
