A rare pair of Bow porcelain lozenge shaped dessert dishes, hand painted with the popular two quail pattern c1755-65.
Dish One measures 29.2cm wide by 23.7cm. There is no damage or restoration. Manufacturing flaws to the rim and foot. Firing crack to the top has been factory over painted with a leaf.
Dish Two measures 30.9cm wide by 24.3cm. Manufacturing flaws to rim, and firing crack to foot. Graze chip to rim (top left), this may be from manufacture as its smooth.
Both unmarked.
