Rare Flower and Moth Pattern Small Bell Shaped Mug c1765-70

A Lowestoft porcelain small bell shaped mug, hand painted with a flower and moth pattern c1765-70.

The mug measures 10.4cm in diameter including the handle and stands 9cm tall.

Good condition. Slight phosphatic staining to the rim and foot, and slight kiln speckling in the glaze.

Marked to the foot with a workman’s mark, Possibly a 5 for Robert Allen.
