Rare Floral Sprays and Butterfly Pattern Tall Ribbed Coffee Cup c1753-54

A rare Worcester porcelain ribbed coffee cup with scroll handle, hand painted with floral sprays and butterflies c1753-54.

The cup measures 7.1cm in diameter including the handle and stands 6.2cm tall.

Two hairline cracks to to the rim, the longest being 6mm in length.

Unmarked.

These taller versions are much rarer than the squat type ribbed cup of the same period.
