Rare Early Grapevine Pattern Pickle Dish c1764-66

A Lowestoft porcelain pickle dish of veined leaf shape with serrated edge, hand painted in underglaze blue with the Grapevine pattern c1764-66.

The pickle dish measures 9.8cm across and 8.9cm wide.

Condition is excellent with just a couple of glazed over nicks to the serrated edge.

Unmarked.

This shape is found on the earlier pickle dishes, which are rarer than the standard shape.
