A Lowestoft Sparrow beak cream jug, hand painted in onglaze colours with the Mandarin Red Bull Pattern, C1772.
The jug measures 7.7cm (3″) in diameter including the handle and stands 8.2cm (3 2/8″) high.
It displays as perfect, but there is a 3mm hairline crack to the right of the beak, an area to the inside of the jug where the glaze has missed and some kiln dirt from manufacture.
Unmarked.
This is the only know sparrow beak jug in this pattern.
