A rare Worcester porcelain teabowl with notched rim printed in underglaze blue with the Plantation Print pattern c1758-60.
The teabowl measures 7.2cm in diameter and stands 4.1cm tall.
Two fine hair cracks running from the rim. No chips or modern restoration.
Unmarked.
See BFS 11.B.5 for a discussion on this pattern which was derived from the earlier Worcester hand painted version (BFS 1.D.11) dating between 1753 and 1756.
