A Liverpool Philip Christian coffee cup, transfer printed with Carnation and floral sprays c1768-73.
The cup measures 8.2cm in diameter including the handle, and stands 5.9cm tall.
It displays very well, but has a 38mm crack running from the rim, and a 2mm chip to the inside of the rim. There is no other damage or any restoration.
This pattern can be found on page 147 of British porcelain saucers by Steven Goss, and is listed as Scarce.
