An 18th century Philip Christian Liverpool moulded porcelain coffee pot, hand painted with a pattern I call The Liverbird Pattern c1765-75.
The coffee pot measures 18.7cm in diameter including the handle and spout, and stands 25.3cm tall including the cover.
It displays very well, but has faults. The body of the pot has been broken into many pieces and restored to a museum standard. The spout has been off, and has two 2mm chips to the tip. The handle is undamaged. There are 8 restored chips to the rim of the cover. The over painting of the restoration has yellowed.
