A Philip Christian soft paste porcelain moulded sauceboat, hand painted in underglaze blue c1765-70.
The sauceboat measures 14cm in length including the handle and stands 9.4cm tall.
It displays very well. There is over painting to the base of the handle, I think this is to hide a firing crack as the handle it’s self is undamaged. There is no other damage or restoration.
