Philip Christian Fence Fisherman and Landscape Pattern Teapot and Cover, C1775.

A Liverpool porcelain Philip Chirstians teapot and cover, hand painted in blue with a Chinese landscape pattern, C1775.

The teapot measures 20cm (7 7/8″) from handle to spout and stands 16.4cm (5 21/32″) with the cover in place.

The teapot displays well but has had some museum quality restoration. The handle and finial have been off, the cover has been broken and over painted to the inside and chips restored to the rim. There is also restoration to the tip of the spout.
