A Lowestoft porcelain teabowl and saucer hand painted in underglaze blue with the Mansfield pattern c1770-80.
The Teabowl measures 7.4cm in diameter and stands 4.2cm tall.
The Saucer measures 12.7cm in diameter.
Condition is good with just a tiny chip to the teabowl.
Both teabowl and saucer are marked with a crescent in imitation of Worcester porcelain. This pattern is far more common on Worcester and presumably its success led to the Lowestoft factory producing copies on their range of tea wares.
