An 18th century Worcester porcelain spoon tray decorated with the Mansfield pattern c1760-65.
The spoon tray measures 15.2cm in length and 8cm wide.
Excellent condition
Marked to the unglazed base with a blue painted crescent.
See BFS Worcester bluwe and White porcelain 1.E.1 for a discussion on this pattern. Spanning nearly 25 years of the factories production from 1757, the pattern was also copied at many other 18th century factories including Bow, Lowestoft, Plymouth and Derby. This example is particularly well painted and finely potted.
