A 1st period Worcester porcelain coffee cup decorated in underglaze blue. This transfer printed pattern is one of the earliest printed patterns used at Worcester from c1756. This cup being crescent marked is slightly later c1760-65.
The cup measures 7.6cm in diameter including the handle and stands 5.7cm tall.
Displays as perfect but has a shallow chip to the inside of the foot. There is no other damage or restoration.
Marked with a rarely found printed open crescent mark.
