An 18th century Lowestoft porcelain teabowl and saucer hand painted in underglaze blue with the Long Bridge pattern c.1770. This pattern is also referred to as the long fence pattern, however the shading below it is used to indicate water.
See Goss P.189 No.357 for a saucer with the same pattern.
The saucer measures 12.1 cm in diameter and the teabowl stands 4.3 cm tall and 7.8 cm across.
Condition is good with a single short hairline 0.8 cm to the tea bowl and two short hairlines slightly longer to the saucer, no chips.
