A Longton Hall Sparrow beak jug, hand painted in underglaze blue with A Chinese landscape and man fishing pattern, C1755-60.
The Jug measures 8.2cm in diameter including the handle and stands 7.9cm high.
It is in very good display condition with no cracks. There is a tiny underglaze chip to the rim from manufacture. Next to this there is a 2.1cm x 1.8cm section broken and repaired, this is almost invisible.
Marked to the base with a Workman’s mark.
