An early Worcester porcelain Dr Wall period teabowl and saucer, hand painted in blue with the Landslip pattern (I.D.21), C1755-60. This pattern was made until C1765 but after 1760 would be marked with a Crescent mark.
The teabowl measures 7.6cm (3″) in diameter and stand 4.1cm (1 5/8″) high. It is in good display condition with no restoration. There is a small chip and a hairline crack to the rim and staining to the paste, probably due to being used for baking.
The saucer measures 12.2cm (4 13/16″) in diameter. It is also in great display condition with only a small chip to the rim and a chip to the foot.
Both marked with Workman’s marks.
