Holed Rock and Peony Pattern sparrow Beak Jug, C1775.

A Lowestoft porcelain sparrow beak jug, hand painted with Holed Rock and Peony pattern, C1775.

The jug measures 8cm (3 1/8″) in diameter including the handle and stands 8.9cm (3.5″) high.

It is in excellent condition, with no chips or restoration. There is a fine 3.5cm (1 3/8″) hairline crack to the right of the handle and a firing crack to the base of the handle.
