A Bow soft paste porcelain leaf dish, hand painted with the Grapevine pattern c1760-65.
The dish measures 24cm in diameter by 19.8cm and 5cm high at the handle when placed on its base.
The dish displays very well. With the handle to the right, there is a 6mm firing crack to the rim at the top of the handle, and a 10cm crack to the rim at the bottom of the handle joint (I believe this started as a firing crack, and has ran over its life. It isn’t a new crack so could all be due to firing). There are 3 sub 5mm chips to the rim, and the larger 1cm chip (pictured).
Marked to the base with a faux Chinese mark.
