A Worcester porcelain Dr Wall period sauceboat, hand painted in underglaze blue with the Uncommon Fringed Tree pattern, C1755-60.
The sauceboat measures 18.2cm (7 3/16″) in length including the handle and stands 8cm (3 1/8″) high at the handle.
It displays well but has some damage. There are some chips to the spout and rim. There are also stained hairline cracks to the body but the pattern hides these well. A section of the foot has been broken and re stuck, this hasn’t caused any damage to the body.
Marked inside the foot with a Workman’s mark.
