A Very rare Lowestoft toy teapot, decorated in underglaze blue with a flower and moth pattern c1765-70.
The teapot measures 12.1cm in diameter including the spout and stands 9cm tall including the finial.
Very good condition without restoration. There is a very fine 5mm hairline to the rim and a 1mm chip to the inside of the rim.
Marked to the foot with a decorators 3 mark.
