A 1st period Worcester porcelain sparrow beak and cover, transfer printed with the popular Fence pattern c1765-80.
The Jug measures 9cm in diameter including the handle and stands 12.9cm tall with the cover in place.
No damage or restoration to the jug. The cover has a chip to the inner rim. There is a missing petal to the finial but this is glazed over, making it a factory flaw rather than damage.
Marked to the base with a crescent mark.
