Fence Pattern Milk Jug and Cover c1770-75 Robert Woodthorpe Browne Collection

A Lowestoft porcelain milk jug and cover, transfer printed with the Fence pattern c1770-75. This pattern is a direct copy of the Worcester Fence pattern and is marked to imitate it.

The Jug measures 9.7cm in diameter including the handle and stands cm tall.

Excellent condition except for a small chip to the rim of the cover and the stalk of the flower finial is missing.

Marked to the base with an open crescent mark.
