Ex Sutherland Collection Large Cider Jug, C1763-65.

A Lowestoft Large Cider Jug, hand painted in a Landscape pattern, C1763-65.

The jug measures 18.7cm (7 3/8″) in diameter including the handle and stands 21.8cm (8 5/8″) high.

It is in excellent condition with only a firing crack to the spout, and a very fine hairline crack to the join of the neck and body (probably from manufacture). There is no other damage, faults or restoration.

Marked to the base with a painters 3 mark.
