A Worcester porcelain Dr Wall period teapot and cover, hand painted with the Cannonball, C1755-60. This pattern was used until C1780, but this one is an early example as it is Workman marked rather than the later crescent or W Marks.
The teapot measures 15.8cm (6 2/8″) in diameter including the handle and spout and stands 11.6cm (4 9/16″) hgh with the cover in place.
It is in excellent condition. The body is undamaged, the cover has 2 chips to the rim and a firing fault near the finial. Neither part has any restoration.
Marked to the base of the body with a Workman’s mark.
