Early Mansfield Pattern Mustard Pot and Replacement Cover c1757-60

An early Worcester porcelain mustard pot and replacement cover, hand painted in underglaze blue with the Mansfield pattern c1757-60.

The body of the pot measures 8cm in diameter including the handle and stands 5.9cm tall without the cover.

The cover measures 6cm in diameter. The mustard pot stands 7.8cm tall with the cover in place.

No damage or restoration to the body of the pot.

Marked to the base with a workman’s mark.

The cover is not original and is a modern replacement made from a mould of another early Worcester mustard pot.
