An 18th century Lowestoft teabowl and saucer, hand painted in underglaze blue with a landscape pattern. C1762-65.
The Teabowl measures 7.8cm in diameter and stands 4.4cm tall. It is in excellent condition without chips or restoration. There is a chip to the inside of the foot (not visible when on display).
The Saucer measures 11.7cm in diameter. There are three hairline cracks to the rim, the longest being 17mm in length. There is also a flea bite chip to the rim at approximately 9 O’clock.
Both marked to the inside of the foot with indistinct marks.
