An early Lowestoft soft paste porcelain barrel shape teapot and cover, decorated in underglaze blue c1762-65.
The Teapot measures 17.1cm from tip of spout to edge of the handle and stands 11.3cm tall with the cover in place.
It is in excellent condition without damage to the body. The finial although the original has been reattached and there is a filled chip to the rim of the cover.
Marked to the foot with a 5.
