Early Feather Mould Floral Pattern Cream Jug c1756

An early Worcester porcelain cream jug of moulded form decorated with the Feather Mould Floral pattern c1756.

The jug measures 7.4cm across spout and handle and stands 9cm tall.

Condition is excellent with no chips, cracks or restoration.

The base of the jug has a good workman’s mark to the base indicating the early date of pre-1760.

The double scroll handle is a slightly simplified form of the superb handle shape found on the earliest Worcester cream jugs and quatrofoil and octagonal coffee cups dating to c1752/53.
