An early Lowestoft porcelain sparrow beak jug, hand painted with the boy on the bridge pattern c1760-62.
The Jug measures 7.7cm in diameter including the handle and stands 7.7cm tall.
The pattern has ran into the glaze during firing. There is a flaw to the right side of the beak from manufacture. No damage or restoration.
Painters mark to the inside of the foot.
This pattern was used until c1770, but early examples are rare.
