Clobbered Pagoda and Man On a Bridge Pattern Teabowl and Saucer c1775-80

An 18th century Lowestoft porcelain teabowl and saucer, transfer printed in underglaze blue with a landscape pattern c1775-80, with later added red and gold.

The Teabowl measures 7.9cm in diameter and stands 3.9cm tall. It is in good display condition without restoration. There is a 7.5cm hairline crack running from the rim and a 5mm chip to the foot.

The Saucer measures 12.6cm in diameter. It has been broken into three and riveted. The rivets have since been removed and the saucer glued. There are no chips or any modern restoration.
