Cannonball Pattern Teapot and Cover c1760-80

£95.00

Out of stock

An 18th century Worcester porcelain teapot and cover, hand painted in underglaze blue with the Cannonball pattern c1760-80. I would suggest this example dates pre 1770 due to its size.

The teapot measures 18.3cm in diameter including the handle and spout and stands 14.7cm high with the cover in place.

It is in excellent display condition. There is a curved body crack. This stars to the left of the handle and runs between the handle, across the other side and down onto the foot. The cover has a well restored chip to the rim, and a fill to the top of the finial.

Marked to the base with an open crescent.
