Boy with Long Arms Pattern Teapot and Cover c1770-80

A Lowestoft teapot and cover decorated in polychrome enamels with a Mandarin pattern comprising three oriental figures in a garden setting – a mother and child are watching a gentleman with bird c1770-80.

The teapot measures 18.5cm across from spout to handle and stands 13.6cm tall including the cover,

Display condition is very good with a crack round the base of the spout and a body crack running round the body above the base.

Unmarked.

Lowestoft produced a fine range of these Mandarin patterns on a variety of tea and coffee wares.
