Blue Scale Japan Star Pattern Teacup and Saucer c1765-75

An 18th century first period Worcester scale blue Japan Star pattern tea cup and saucer, c1765-70.

The Teacup measures 10cm in diameter including the handle and stands 4.7cm high.

The Saucer measures 13.2cm in diameter.

Both parts are undamaged and without restoration. There is a glazed and gilded chip to the rim of the saucer from manufacture. The gilding is also in very good order.

Marked to the base with a faux Chinese square mark.
