Angled Rock and Flowering Plants Pattern Teabowl and Saucer c1765

A Lowestoft porcelain teabowl and saucer, hand decorated with a Chinese garden scene c1765.

The inky blue and shape of the bodies of the teabowl and saucer indicate an early date, possible pre 1765.

The Teabowl measures 7cm in diameter and stands 3.8cm tall.

The saucer measures 12cm in diameter.

Good condition except for a shallow chip and some staining to the rim of the teabowl. No restoration.

Both parts marked to the inside of the footrim with workman’s marks.
