A Lowestoft porcelain teapot and cover, hand painted with the Longbridge and house pattern c1770-80.
The teapot measures 22cm in diameter including the handle and spout and stands 16.2cm tall with the cover in place.
The body of the pot has a curved hot water crack running from one side (mid spout) to just below the handle. The tip of the spout has a museum quality repair and there is a crack across the handle. The cover has a chip to the outer rim and the inner rim may have been ground.
