A Lowestoft porcelain teapot and cover, hand painted in onglaze colours with The Very Rare Mandarin Tethered Bird pattern, c1780.
The teapot measures 20.6cm (8 1/8) from tip of spout to edge of handle, and stands 15.6cm (6 1/8″) high with the cover in place.
The teapot and cover display very well. There is a long crack running from the rim and around the base. There is No other damage or restoration. The cover is undamaged
