Beth Horton

My Grandfather started my Mum collecting blue and white in the 80ā€™s when I was small. I would buy her anything I found that was blue and white (now I know it was junk). She died when I was 12, and all her treasures where sold, except for some that my Aunt squirreled away. When I was 30 my Aunt allowed my Brother and I the boxes, one item each until they where all picked. My Aunt told me the porcelain was the most valuable, so I chose that while my Brother sentimental items. I picked 31 pieces of Early English, which I proudly displayed on an Ikea bookcase. My Grandfather and I used to have lunch the 1st Sunday of the month, and as he had started my Mum, I asked if he would help me identify my pieces as his labels had fallen off. While doing this I said ā€œIā€™d love to make my living dealing in thisā€ He said ā€œyou canā€™t, you will never find enoughā€ Challenge excepted and onto ebay I went. Buying the odd teabowl etc when I could afford, and selling them to buy better items such as teapots etc. A Year later he died, and in both their memoryā€™s my website was launched.

Simon Muddimer

Hi I'm Simon Muddimer... I had an accident August 2019 at work where I used to drive Class 1 HGV lorries and loved every minute of it.....
but August 2019 changed my life so dramatically, I was 50 years old and have been left with an acute spinal cord injury...
I have 2 vertibrae compressing my spinal cord in my neck, hence the reason for the dramatic career change, I can no longer drive anything, but you have to adapt to your individual circumstances, so I'm re-training myself to design and build websites for a living rather than dwelling on the injury or the accident, I am now registered disabled, but I'd rather control my own destiny than fall into a pit of depression over something I have no control over, you have to adapt or fall...
I actually started 'Muddy-Badger Web Services' and I was able to rebuild this site your on now.
