A Very Rare Derby butter tub and cover c1758-60, hand painted in underglaze blue with a floral pattern.
The butter tub measures 11.1cm in length by 8.5cm wide and stands 10cm tall with the cover in place.
The base has been broken and riveted. The rivets have been removed and the pieces re stuck with gaps filled. The cover is undamaged.
Patch marks to the base.
