The saucer is of trembleuse type with a ridged well to the centre and features a finch-like bird on a branch with a flying insect and a beetle-like insect to the opposite side.

Both cup and saucer are marked to the base with a small red anchor and typical Chelsea stilt marks can be seen to both bases.

The cup stands 6.5 cm tall and measures 8.5 cm across including handle. the saucer measures 12.2 cm in diameter

The cup is in excellent condition with just slight rubbing to the brown painted rim, small chip to the foot rim and a very fine 5mm hairline to the rim (above the bird) The saucer is in excellent condition without damage or restoration but has slight wear to the painted rim from age and use.
