Rare Richard Chaffers Stag Hunt Pattern Teapot c1760

An 18th century soft paste porcelain teapot. Made in Liverpool by Richard Chaffers c1760.

This pattern was copied from a Chinese original and is found on most 18th and early 19th century factories including Worcester and Lowestoft.

The teapot measures 18.6cm in diameter including the handle and spout and stands 10cm tall at the spout.

It is in great condition without cracks or restoration. There are two tiny chips to the inside of the spout, one of these is glazed over.
